QUALIFICATIONS:

Must meet Civil Service eligibility requirements. 

(Graduation from high school or possession of a GED supplemented with a typing or keyboard course)

The Typist is responsible for providing routine and general clerical duties for the assigned office. Must have working knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment; good knowledge of business math and English; familiarity and experience using a computer; ability to type from clear copy or rough draft at a reasonable rate of speed; ability to understand and follow oral & written directions; ability to write legibly; clerical aptitude; mental alertness; tact and courtesy.

SALARY:

Grade 11A, Step 1 $47,019 (prorated)

Based on CSEA Contract
